Description

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Media Monitoring.

Birmingham City Council is looking for a supplier to provide daily media monitoring service of relevant press cuttings from the national press, regional press, trade and consumer press, broadcast, online
and social media coverage. This coverage needs to be in the form of a daily e-mail alert or a web portal and be accessible by a limited number of council employees.

There is also a requirement for the software / web site to be able evaluate each article for positivity (either by the supplier or in-house by Birmingham City Council) and Advertising Equivalent Value (and
alternative measures used by the industry) and the ability to produce reports on this data.

We are also interested in any journalist database lists and forward planning tools which may also be part the media monitoring package and any new services / developments in the media monitoring
industry.

This contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing 1st September 2017 until 31st August 2019 with an option to extend for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.

BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
