266/SW/N/15 Hot Isostatic Powder Processing Consultancy

The University of Sheffield, Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre wishes to procure services of a specialist consultant with specific experience and expertise in Hot Isostatic Powder Processing of metallic materials, in particular in the manufacture of stainless steel and nickel based components.

A consultant is required with specific experience and knowledge of Powder Metallurgy and Hot Isostatic Pressing (PM/HIP) in order to support Nuclear AMRC in research and development activities.

This tender will establish a framework agreement for services, the number of days required is envisaged to be in the region of 60 per twelve months, but this quantity is not guaranteed and may be higher or lower. The award of the agreement does not guarantee any amount of work.
