Description

The North York Moors National Park Authority (the Authority) is working with DEFRA through their test and trials process to develop a new Environmental Land Management System (ELMS). The new system will be the key mechanism for delivering 6 of the goals set out in the 25 Year Environment Plan and will be the means by which the government pays farmers and land managers for the provision of public goods.
The Authority is to seek the views of as many farmers and land managers as possible within the North York Moors National Park through a questionnaire and series of focus groups to identify which public goods farmers and land managers want to deliver and consequently identify which public goods are less popular and/or more demanding to deliver.
The Authority is seeking an experienced Consultant to work with its Future Farm Policy Officer to assist in the development, distribution and analysis of the questionnaire.
