Description
The Council wishes to appoint a contractor to undertake minor civils and associated landscaping works beneath the new Bath Quays North footbridge in central Bath, England. The site is located south of Corn Street (A367) and runs parallel with the River Avon to South. The proposed Bath Quays North (BQN) development is located on the north riverbank in Avon Street in central Bath and comprises seven plots with underground car parking. The Bath Quays South (BQS) development is located on the south riverbank in central Bath comprising new commercial office space. The landscaping associated with river flood defence works has largely been completed however a small area remains to be completed beneath the newly installed pedestrian bridge. This tender enquiry concerns the remaining landscaping and foot paths that require completion beneath the bridge. The landscaping comprises minor civils works to complete the connecting pedestrian walkways and the final planting to the areas as indicated. The Contractor will be responsible for co-ordinating the final design of the foot paths however we have included outline specification for its construction.
