Description

The British Film Institute is partnering with a Coffee Shop chain. From 17th August until 17th September 2015, 10 Coffee Shops around the UK will display a free standing pod with an integrated screen showing footage from the BFI National Archive and Regional Archives.

The requirements form part of the BFI's Britain on Film project. As part of a major programme of digitisation, which started in 2012 and continues until the end of 2017, Britain on Film offers ways to discover, explore and engage with the newly digitised films as they are added to BFI Player.

From 7 July, over 2,000 films as part of a Towns and Cities collection will be unveiled on BFI Player and plotted on an interactive map. Here you will find feature stories, news, screenings information, links and specially made films.
