Description

Equestrian activity and land use has an important role in the South Downs National Park (SDNP) - both for its contribution to the local economy and recreation, and for its contribution to the land management of this nationally protected landscape.
The SDNPA is seeking to engage with equestrian owners of all scales, throughout the National Park, and to provide guidance on positive land management interventions to support both the needs of equines and well-functioning landscapes. The document will be adopted as a Technical Advice Note (TAN).
