Description

To develop the masterplan, the University intends to appoint a local consultancy that can deliver a mix of disciplines including spatial zoning, master-planning, urban design and regeneration.

The masterplan should provide a holistic urban design strategy, exploring the connections and
potential movement between elements of the City Hub and the wider University estate, coupled with access to the city centre, transport hubs etc. and establish some key opportunities for Hub development. The commission should focus on those areas of opportunity and maximising existing assets in the town but also identify key projects which could unlock the development potential of the wider Hub area.
