Description

Contract for the provision of up to 4 mechanical road sweepers with drivers throughout the year to accommodate seasonal workloads and 1 mini sweeper for up to 25 weeks per year.
The initial contract is for a period of 2 years and may be extended by a further 2 years giving a maximum contract length of 4 years.
The service shall cover the whole of the Ribble Valley and shall include the provision of out of hours call outs including emergency response call outs to be responded to within 40 minutes.
The authority may consider awarding the whole contract to a single supplier or as three separate lots to different suppliers and this shall be allowed for in the tender prices submitted.
