Description

Leeds City Council, as the accountable body responsible for delivering the Morley Town Deal are working to appoint a consultant to undertake a site appraisal for the St Marys Church and Churchyard which is a prominent and at-risk site within the Conservation Area. Consultants are sought to undertake the following pieces of work: Phase 1: • Condition survey and structural report of the church and listed structures within the graveyard Phase 2: • An Initial Feasibility Options Assessment taking into account relevant technical constraints such as heritage (listed buildings, and conservation area) archaeology, planning, trees and access and providing advice on potential options for use/ development of the site. • Costings for preferred options identified as part of the Feasibility Options Assessment including for works required to preserve the building in a safe and accessible condition as a ruin
