Description

Birmingham City Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations that are CQC registered to provide Enablement Home Care and are already approved providers on the Council's Home Care Framework wishing to tender to deliver approximately 100 enablement packages of care to younger and older adults in the South of the city.

The areas are:
One: Edgbaston, Harborne, Quinton, Bartley Green, Weoley Castle, Longbridge and Northfield
Two: Selly Oak, Bourneville, Kings Norton, Brandwood, Moseley and Kings Heath, Sparkbrook, Springfield, Billesley and Hall Green.

Each package will be for a four week period and it is anticipated that each package will range from three hours up to 15 hours per week and be between one and four calls per day.

Organisations can bid for one or both of the areas grouped above.

The pilot is to supplement Birmingham City Council's Enablement service and a referral process will be established with the successful provider.

BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
