Description

Invitation to mini compete - Lot 4 Building Surveyor
The Housing Property & Investment Team is responsible for the reasonable maintenance and repair of the buildings and related assets owned by Brighton & Hove City Councils' Housing Revenue Account.
In order to ensure properties are maintained in a reasonable condition, and that investment is being made in a cost-effective and safe way, there is a requirement for independent and professional investigation and assessment of condition and possible future repair and maintenance costs and options.
Purpose & General Contracting Authority Requirements
The Consultant is required to investigate and appraise the buildings, and their environs, including a proportion of flats.
The consultant undertaking the required investigations and appraisals must be RICS qualified for the duration of the contract, named in the report, and proactively contact the Contracting Authority in writing if unclear about any part of the brief.
The block to be included in this investigation and appraisal is:
