Description
The Powered electronics Machine Control group (PEMC) has a new facility designed for testing electrical drives, power electronics and electrical machines for, but not limited to, future electrical systems for transport and industrial application, propulsion actuation and generation.
This tender is for the build, supply, installation, commissioning and training of a reconfigurable 2MW resistive load bank for both AC and DC variable voltage and frequency loading rated up to 3.3kV AC and 3kV DC. The rig is intended to be fully operational by 01/12/2021 to align with ongoing research project activities.
