Description

The package covers, but is not limited to, the following structural components:

Abutments, including bearing shelves, backwalls, and associated retaining elements
Wing walls including reinforcement details, formwork, concrete placement, and tie-ins
Central pier, where applicable, based on design
Placing of pre-cast deck panels, including the stitched slab, diaphragms, upstands and any longitudinal or transverse construction joints
Installation precast parapet plinths and associated edge thickening or upstand requirements
Any additional minor or connecting works required to complete the structure to specification


In addition to the primary structural FRC installation, the package includes full responsibility for all associated temporary works and ancillary requirements, including:

Temporary works design, supply and installation, inclusive of falsework, propping, support systems, working platforms and stability measures
Testing and control activities, including concrete cube testing, slump testing, rebar inspection hold points, and pour records
Curing systems and processes including curing membranes, coverings, and controlled curing regimes
Concrete temperate monitoring, including the provision and management of sensors where required
Access and edge protection systems including surface preparation, treatment, defect rectification (if required) and final concrete finishes
All labour, plant, materials, consumables, and supervision to deliver a fully compliant structure


The contractor will be required to coordinate their works with adjacent section 3b activities and provide all necessary RAMS, ITPs, quality records, and as-built-information to support completion of Centre Parcs overbridge.
