These works are critical to maintaining safe, reliable and accessible homes, particularly for residents who rely on lifts for day-to-day mobility.\r\n\r\nThe Council seeks to appoint a Lift Consultant to provide Project Management and Clerk of Works services to support the effective delivery of this Lift Modernisation programme, over a 12 month period. The Consultant's role is not limited to coordination, but extends to the provision of active oversight, independent assurance and quality control across all stages of delivery.\r\n\r\nThis commission is intended to ensure that works are delivered in a controlled and consistent manner, that risks are identified and managed proactively, and that the completed installations meet the Council's required standards in terms of safety, quality, compliance and resident experience. The Consultant shall act at all times in the interests of the Council, maintaining clear visibility of programme status, performance and emerging risks.",
