        "description": "Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust ("the Trust") invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit a tender for the replacement of an existing CT scanner and all associated enabling works within an operational acute hospital environment.\r\n\r\nTenderers shall carefully review all documents issued as part of this procurement and ensure their submission demonstrates a clear understanding of the project requirements, statutory obligations and the constraints associated with working within a live healthcare facility.\r\n\r\nThe anticipated scope of works includes, but is not limited to:\r\n\r\nRemoval and disposal of the existing CT scanner.\r\nInstallation, commissioning and handover of the new CT scanner.\r\nMechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) alterations required to support the new installation.\r\nNew ventilation systems and associated roof-mounted plant where required.\r\nElectrical infrastructure upgrades, including LV distribution, containment, lighting, emergency lighting, UPS (where applicable) and associated controls.\r\nBuilder's works, structural alterations, fire stopping and architectural finishes.\r\nInstallation and commissioning of associated fire alarm, access control and communication systems.\r\nTesting, commissioning, validation, certification, training and provision of Operation & Maintenance manuals and as-built information.\r\n\r\nThe successful Contractor shall be expected to deliver the works in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidance, including but not limited to:\r\n\r\nHealth Technical Memoranda (HTMs).\r\nHealth Building Notes (HBNs).\r\nBuilding Regulations.\r\nBuilding Safety Act 2022 (where applicable).\r\nConstruction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.\r\nBritish Standards and all relevant statutory requirements.\r\nTrust policies relating to infection prevention and control, permit-to-work systems and operational continuity.\r\n\r\nTenderers shall demonstrate how they will:\r\n\r\nMaintain continuity of clinical services throughout the works.\r\nMinimise disruption to adjacent departments and hospital operations.\r\nSafely manage service interruptions and planned isolations.\r\nCoordinate all commissioning activities with the Trust and equipment manufacturer.\r\nManage infection prevention and control measures, logistics, noise, vibration and dust within a live hospital environment.\r\n\r\nTo access this competition: \r\n\r\nRegistered:\r\nLogin to https://suppliers.multiquote.com and view the opportunity CA18285.\r\n\r\nNot registered:\r\nVisit https://suppliers.multiquote.com then register and quote CA18285 as the reason for registration. \r\n\r\n Any queries please contact MultiQuote on 020 3920 8054.",
