There is no other equipment which can be used in place of DSP 27.\r\n\r\nDSP 27 was brought in as a UOR, made by DSTL and Gill Research and Development Ltd, who now own the IPR and Manufacturers Data Pack. DSP 27 is a hand carried detector unit that consists of a lower 'Passive' receiving antenna head, main body, carry handle / control panel, battery carrier and upper receiving antenna.\r\n\r\nPurchase of x100 battery carriers to prevent a capability gap.\r\n\r\nThis is a procurement of a spare part only.\r\n\r\nThe battery carrier must be NSN 6160-99-667-2326.\r\n\r\nMilestones are not expected - immediate purchase will be the only output.\r\n\r\nUpon delivery, a short inspection of each item will be undertaken to ensure it is the correct part as expected.
