"description": "NHS England London Region (hereafter referred to as \"The Authority\") invites interested, suitably qualified and experienced providers to attend a Market Engagement Event in advance of publication of Enhanced Mental Health Pathfinder (EMHP) Services across London.\r\n\r\nThe Authority is seeking to procure an alliance of delivery partners for a pan-London EMHP service for victims and survivors of sexual abuse or assault with complex trauma related mental health needs.\r\n\r\nThe main service outcome will be to increase access, reduce fragmentation and work collaboratively across sectors to address the identified barriers within the pathways, and between statutory and voluntary sector service providers.\r\n\r\nThe EMHP will be a partnership or alliance of service providers working together to deliver the service specification including clinical support, training and development and creating a network of partners.\r\n\r\nKey objectives of Pathfinders are to:\r\no create and improve pathways and partnership working approaches to the benefit of individuals with complex trauma related mental health needs associated with sexual assault and abuse;\r\no improve access to professionals trained in identification of, and appropriate response to, complex trauma related mental health needs associated with sexual assault and abuse;\r\no for individuals with complex trauma related mental health needs the primary aim is to reduce complex trauma related symptoms and improve quality of life (improve individual wellbeing, reduce mental health symptomology, minimise harm and re-traumatisation, improve functioning (including social and occupational) and support healing and recovery);\r\no encourage establishment of trauma-informed systems that have impact beyond this service;\r\no build evidence base for the value of new approaches.\r\n\r\nCore principles of pathfinders for adult victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse with complex trauma related mental health needs:\r\n\r\n1. Reduce fragmentation in services and increase access to professionals competent and confident in identifying and responding to the needs of adult victims and survivors;\r\n2. Every interaction matters. Promotion of trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches that acknowledge the need for personalisation, collaboration, and choice;\r\n3. Focus on collaboration and co-production.\r\n\r\nMarket Engagement:\r\n\r\nTo test assumptions and proposed service requirements, a market engagement event will take place to explore the market's feedback on the following areas:\r\n\r\n• Outline of service requirements and key outcomes;\r\n• Timescales for procurement and mobilisation of the new contract;\r\n• Proposed contract duration and financial model;\r\n• Networking opportunity with providers.\r\n\r\nThe Authority plans to hold an interactive engagement event on Wednesday 19 February 2025 from 10:30 - 14:00 at Wellington House, Lower Ground, 133 - 155 Waterloo Road, London, SE1 8UG.\r\n\r\nMaximum 2 attendees per organisation.\r\n\r\nRegistration closes at 12:00pm (Noon) on 10 February 2025.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The indicative maximum financial envelope for this procurement will be £1,017,000 per annum. \r\n\r\nThe contract will have an initial term of 3 years, with the possibility of extending the term up to a further 2 years beyond the initial contracted duration. This will be subject to satisfactory performance and by mutual agreement between the Commissioners and Providers, but the intention is for this service and the partnership that supports it to be part of longer-term transformation work. \r\n\r\nThe service specification, HNA and other supporting documents will be shared in advance of the MEE.\r\n\r\nOrganisation or agency biographies submitted in the Registration Form will be shared in a directory of services to aid provider networking.\r\n\r\nThe NHS London Commercial Hub (LCH), hosted by NHS North East London ICB is managing this Market Engagement process on behalf of NHS England (London Region).",
