WH operates a housing repairs and maintenance service, a capital investment and refurbishment programme and is involved in the construction of new homes. WH is also a licensed asbestos contractor and has other miscellaneous buildings and open space management responsibilities across the city. This contract is a four-year contract. Initial term is three years with an option to extend for one further year.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nDescription of the Service Required\\r\r\n\\r\r\nWH is seeking to appoint a holistic, efficient, timely, reliable and cost-effective waste management service primarily covering the following FOUR (4) services:\\r\r\n\\r\r\n•\tTemporary Skip Hire Service: Supply, delivery, collection and emptying of waste disposal containers and skips, including asbestos; \\r\r\n\\r\r\n•\tTipping Facility: Provision of a waste transfer / tipping / recycling centre, including asbestos that provides 'cost and time' efficient transfer & storage of WH waste;\\r\r\n\\r\r\n•\tStatic Skip Service: Supply, delivery, collection and emptying of segregated waste disposal containers at a designated site(s) of WH; and \\r\r\n\\r\r\n•\tAd-hoc kerbside waste collection Service: Provision for general waste   collections from any location within the City.\\r\r\n\\r\r\n",
