Upgrading the resilience of the electrical infrastructure at Harmondsworth IRC \r\nthrough the provision of a permanent back-up generator plus HV transformer replacement. The \r\nsite must stay operational throughout the project through isolating the works. \r\nIn summary, the contracted works shall include: \r\n- Removal of the existing transformer 1 and associated HV breaker. \r\n- Provision of a new 1600kVA transformer and associated HV breaker. \r\n- Provision of a new 1250kVA fixed generator complete with enclosure and 12-hour day tank \r\nwithin the new generator enclosure. \r\n- Replacing the existing generator control panel with a control panel complete with a \r\nchangeover switch that accepts 2No. generator connections, one for the existing fixed \r\ngenerator and one for the new fixed generator.
