Description

We are looking for Suppliers to be part of our supply chain that can provide good and outstanding education and value for money across the Sheffield City Region (SCR), particularly those with experience in delivering education that meets the SCR's priority sectors (Strategic Economic Plan, Renewal Action Plan) and those with Covid-resilient delivery models.
This is a potential opportunity to support Adult Education Budget delivery to South Yorkshire's adult residents (aged 19+) to increase their skills, with a particular focus on the hardest to reach groups and those furthest from the labour market, in line with National and Combined Authority Funding Rules.
This commissioning exercise will start that dialogue with potential Suppliers to understand your organisation's ability to deliver and meet the demands of the Adult Education Budget.
The Commissioning exercise will follow the Award of Contracts for social and other specific services as stated in sections 74 to 76 in the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
The tendering process will be conducted in accordance with the requirements and flexibilities provided by Articles 74 to 76 of the Directive, and Regulations 74 to 76 of the Regulations. The authority will run a transparent tender process, treating all bidders equally. For the avoidance of doubt, the authority will not be bound by the regulations or the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union or any other regulations or legislation except for the specific parts or circumstances that apply to the procurement of these services
