Description

This opportunity is available via The Chest https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ The Council has a requirement for intrusive grounds investigation works to provide information for the design of the Carlisle Southern Link Road scheme. This will confirm the nature and condition of the superficial deposits and solid strata along the preferred alignment, with the groundwater regime and contaminative status also being determined. The ground investigation is being undertaken in two phases, with this commission relating to Phase 2 of the works. The Phase 1 site works were completed in late 2018: the testing and reporting is currently being finalised.
