The system must be capable of integrating with the Council's existing hearing loop system and include a small number of standalone microphones to enable public speaking where appropriate.

The delegate microphones must also be capable of delegate recognition via RFID or similar. The system must also be capable of being easily upgraded in future to enable the introduction of electronic voting, through either licencing or a software upgrade, as well as automatically panning cameras.
