Description

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters. The fleet has a requirement for the supply and fitting of an Electronic Chart Display and Information System to each of the five vessels.

The full package required is detailed in the attached Statement of Requirements.

This contract will commence on 15th July 2019. All five cutters are to have the ECDIS installed by 01 January 2020 in line with the cutters operational working patterns. These timings and exact locations for supply and installation will be agreed between the successful supplier and Border Force following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation.

Bidders are required to submit quotations.

The purpose of this notice is to make the Statement of Requirements available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the package. Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Ian McDermott, Home Office Commercial: ian.mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity and providing the itemised quotation.
Furthermore, confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions on which the contract will be awarded is required (also attached for reference).
