As the scaffold/access team will be mobile, we expect any Contractor to provide a suitable van and trailer to transport materials to enable flexibility to cover the various areas of site.

As part of this contract scaffold and other access equipment such as MEWPs may be required however each request should be assessed and the best option for access is to be agreed with the relevant manager/task owner.

The successful contractor will be required to erect, dismantle and modify scaffolds as per the agreed plan with the relevant manager/task owner, including tagging. We expect to have at least 80 tonnes of scaffolding on site at any time. Contractors are to note that in some cases where the scaffolds have been stood for a numbers of years they will be required to dismantle the scaffolds and be scrapped.

This is a Services Contract being procured under the OJEU Open Procedure Regulations.

The length of the agreement will be for an initial 1 year period, with an option to extend for a further 1 year period.
