Description

FORMAL EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST INVITED PRIOR TO THE RUNNING OF A CLOSED TENDER:
Lancaster University wish to appoint a contractor to carry out an effective inspection, testing, maintenance and repair service for all types of Automatic doors and Roller shutter doors at the Lancaster University campus and Chancellors Wharf (LA1 1WB) located off campus in Lancaster City Centre. The intention of this contract is to ensure that all automatic doors, roller shutters and associated equipment operate safely, efficiently and in accordance with all relevant legislation and to the manufacturer's specification. A call out service for reactive maintenance shall be provided in accordance with an agreed service level agreement. The contract will also include revolving doors and fire shutters to form a complete package of works. The location of the site is Bailrigg Campus, Lancaster, LA1 4YW.

The University is now inviting formally structured expressions of interest in the project, before running a closed tender. RESPONSES MUST BE IN THE PRESCRIBED FORMAT. Please download the Expression of Interest letter along with all attachments including the schedule of doors and draft contract from the University's e-tendering portal (In-Tend). RESPONSES MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THIS SAME PORTAL AND NOT EMAILED DIRECT TO THE BUYER.
