Description

Quantity Surveyor services are required to oversee the redevelopment of the Abbot Hall site comprising Grade I listed Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Grade II listed Museum of Lakeland life and Industry and wider estate in the Kirkland conservation area of Kendal.
Previous experience and understanding of projects in heritage buildings of a similar scale is required. The QS will work closely with the Design Team, Client Project Manager and other consultants to see the project through from the current stage to completion. The scope will also include assisting with the client's Arts Council England Stage Two application due in December 2018.
Please note that the Design Team is currently being procured, each consultant will be directly contracted to Lakeland Arts.
