Description

The requirement is for an amplifier with frequency doubler that uses an input frequency range of 20 to 25 GHz and produces a 40 to 50 GHz signal. Ideally the output power would be 4 watts over the whole frequency range, but we require 4 watts over 40 to 45 GHz and can accept a reduce power output over the rest of the frequency range. The output of the amplifier will be connected permanently to our WG23 waveguide system.

The device is required for the calibration of radiation hazard probes and field strength sensors and will replace our failed combined WG23 amplifier and frequency quaduplier.
