Description

Manchester City Council is inviting tenders for an 'End User Devices and Associated Peripherals' framework.
The Council, has approximately 7,300 staff located over 300 locations, with a mixed estate of approximately 15,000 hardware devices split between laptops, desktops, thin client terminals, tablets and mobile phones. The Council is looking to improve the user experience by appointing partner(s) for the provision of all IT End User Devices (EUD), associated peripherals / equipment and supporting services in order to support and enhance the Council's EUD strategy and service offering.
The primary partner will assist the Council's ICT team in the identification, procurement and provisioning of all EUD equipment for staff working within and for the Council. The Council wants to have a 'one stop shop' for all IT EUD equipment. This includes (but is not limited to): Desktop PC's, laptops, tablets, unlocked mobile phones (smartphones, feature phones and ruggedised devices), 2-in-1 hybrid devices, cables, monitors keyboards and mice.
The framework will be for a 2 year period with an option to extend for up to an additional 2 years commencing in October 2020.

Tenders should note that although quantities and descriptions in the tender are those used and required by Manchester City Council this Framework is open to and may be used by (upon gaining permission by The Council) other Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) and its associate members, and Manchester Partners - this includes the following Councils, Bolton, Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Trafford, Rochdale, Bury, Salford, Wigan, Blackburn Darwen BC, Blackpool, Cheshire East, Warrington, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Authority, Greater Manchester Police Authority, Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority, Manchester Central Convention Complex, Commission for New Economy, Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (TfGM),Transport for Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the Integrated Transport Authority. Public Sector bodies with offices based with the Greater Manchester area may also use this framework.

The result of this tender may not be exclusive to one supplier and Manchester City Council reserves the right to place orders with more than one approved successful tenderer for the above said items or work required. This constitutes a Framework Agreement.
