Description

This notice is not a call for competition - The Coal Authority intends to issue the call for competition on or after 29.7.2018.

We require a new framework for civil engineering, mechanical, electrical and minor works services which will run from April 2020 to March 2024.

The framework will operate in the former coal mining and metal mining areas of England, Scotland & Wales and is a key delivery mechanism for minewater scheme developments and refurbishment.

Deliverables from this framework are majorly civil engineering works to put in place new treatment schemes (consisting of components such as reed beds, pumping arrangements, chemical dosing, lagoons & cascades) as well as elements of mechanical & electrical works to refurbish existing schemes

It is anticipated that the new service will be organised in two lots

Lot 1 - Civil engineering
Two major partners providing best value to deliver civil engineering for treatment schemes through strong collaborative relationships. Work through this lot will be Coal Authority major projects involving design and construction and construction only of minewater treatment schemes and work on existing schemes that require upgrading.

Lot 2 - Minor works, mechanical / electrical
A number of organisations to provide agility & best value for those projects smaller in scope & value involved in the minor refurbishment of our sites, mechanical and electrical works and enabling type works on our sites.

We would like to invite enquiries from interested parties so as to enable them to better understand our requirements.

We will also be running an engagement session for interested parties between 0930hrs & 1200hrs on 1 July 2019 at Forever Green, Ransom Wood Business Park, Southwell Road West, Mansfield. NG21 OHJ to assist interested parties to better understand our requirements.
