Description

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority carries out research into the use of controlled nuclear fusion for the generation of power. The Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak Upgrade (MAST-U) is one such fusion experiment which is due to undergo enhancements.

The Authority now has a requirement for the Completion of the Detailed Design, Manufacture, Assembly, Testing and Supply of the following enhancements:
- Residual Ion Dumps (upper and lower);
- Calorimeter and associated Hypervapotrons;
- Beamline Module Frame (BLMF) - a frame which supports the Residual Ion Dumps, Bend Magnets, Calorimeter, and associated services.
