Description

The majority of the equipment in the Culham West Main LV Distribution switchrooms D12 & F2 is approximately 60 years old and is long passed its intended design life.The scope includes but shall not be limited to:
Replace the 60 years old English Electric LV ACBs in the switch panels with a retrofit withdrawable solution with equivalent Form 4 Type 7 ACBs in the two separate switchrooms in D12 and in the single switchroom in F2;
The new ACBs must match the ratings from the obsolete ACBs and must provide like-for-like protection with adjustable settings;
The retrofit solutions shall meet modern day safety standards;
Introduction of intelligent monitoring of electrical loads; power demand and quality with real-time meter readings via networked PCs; and
The retrofit solution must have a minimum lifetime of 25 years.
