Description

Cumbria County Council wish to commission a service to provide minor adaptive works for people who have a disability. The aim is to improve the customer's safety and independence in their own home. The properties will essentially be private domestic dwellings. The cost of each individual works will be less than £1,500.00. The adaptive works contract will be tendered on a 2 + 1 basis as a countywide provision. Note that Adult Social Care operations occur within Localities by Division i.e. Carlisle & Eden, Allerdale & Copeland and South Lakeland & Furness. The total value of the contract is approximately £250,000 per annum with a roughly equal value in each division.
