Description
The Training Simulation Systems Programme within Defence Equipment and Support, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to place a two-year contract (with four one-year option years) with SimFront Simulation Systems Corporation. The contract would be for the provision of Post Design Services, Technical Support and Development of the Virtual Command and Control Interface (VCCI) Toolset. VCCI is a key interface between several systems in the Command and Staff Trainer (CAST) project. CAST represents a synthetic training system which facilitates Collective Training (CT) from levels 4 to 6, representing higher formation battle training for commanders and their staff, enabling planning and execution of operations within a simulated virtual environment at 3 (three) MOD sites (Catterick and Warminster, UK, and Sennelager, Germany).
